Reiki is a Japanese technique and Spiritual philosophy for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing of the mind, body and spirit.

Reiki is an energy healing (hands on healing) in which a Reiki practitioner uses gentle hand movements and symbols with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy through the body to reduce stress and promote healing.

Energy can stagnate in the body when there has been physical injury, emotional pain, emotional trauma. Over time the stagnation can become energy blocks which can cause physical/emotional illness.  Reiki helps the flow of energy and removes blockages - improving the energy flow throughout the body. 

Lauri is a Reiki Master, empath, mother, grandmother and retired RN who is the owner of “My Healing Heart Reiki LLC.” 

Lauri has 40+ years practicing nursing, starting as a nurses aide to LPN then RN.  She has been employed in many medical settings, providing care to all ages, retiring from Hospice of NWO  in 2022.
 

Lauri uses a combination of Japanese Reiki, developed by Mikao Usui, and Sekhem-Seichim Reiki (SSR), an Egyptian system of healing.  SSR is a transformative energy that powerfully assists in releasing congested energy, blockages and unwanted negativity, bringing in cleansing and healing energies.

Lauri has certifications in sound healing and aromatherapy.  She uses crystals, essential oils, herbs and sound/vibration as part of her Reiki sessions.

Committed to lifelong learning, Lauri continues her spiritual education through attending classes and workshops regularly.
